It was for a forex web site I launched on the second week of December. And there is another $200 pending commission to be released in the next couple of days. Not too bad for 3 weeks, right?

Let me brief you little about the procedure I applied to earn $700 in 3 weeks. I didn’t spend much on advertising and relied heavily on natural traffic.
I bought a domain name which calls for action and have a monthly average search volume of 7100. I thought that would be more than enough since the keyword is highly targeted to prompt an action.
I could get listed in Google within 2 days and could get in to the first page within a week thanks to do follow blogs and smart “on page optimization“.
Other than that I did run a $10 a day adwords campaign for 6 days to test the conversions. (Only Placement targeting.) I paused the campaign when I realized natural traffic is treating me way more nicer than the ppc campaign.
To be honest, I did not do anything new or did not invent any strategies. The classic theories of internet marketing still pay you good dividends.
I did not want to bore you with fancy information and did not want to make simple things complex. I just wanted to let you know that most myths haunting in this industry is just bull and you come achieve anything if you have the will power.
The truth is,
You do not have to wait for ages to see your first sale/ lead.
You do not have to spend thousands in order to make thousands.
You do not have to be an expert.
I am not better than you. I do not have any secret information which you do not have any access to. If I could do this, you could have done this 10 times better than me. “JUST DO IT” like guys at NIKE saying all the time.

Good inspirational but I think adwords campaigns can be difficult for newbies to consistently profitable.
Also just a note that I originally was interested in commenting on your December 29th post about do follow search engine but it is already closed for comments. I suggest you leave comments open for at least a month to allow more discussion.
Theres alot of ways to get visitors and adwords i deffently ine of them. but i think Chris is right.
I can be hard for a noob to get it right and it also cost some money.
For a web-site with no income a $10/day campaign can be very much.

Thanks for the post. Very motivating. I found a post on my blog that I was able to start running some affiliate offers using natural traffic. Very similar to your situation. Amazing to wake up with a couple hundred bucks in your account ;)
3 weeks is amazing and honestly it is hard to believe that you raked in that much inside of a month. Part of the reason could also be the industry you chose, although competition there is way too high.
Your geting listed within 2 weeks in google and the first page elevation there is also heartening and gives a lot of hope. However keyword choice and the optimisation had probably the major to do with it.

You are so right…all you need to do is learn the how to research keywords and how to generate backlinks to your website. I took me months before I finally got my hands on that information. I wish I had landed on a blog like this back then….Great Post!!
I’m new to IM. I was able to put about $300 in my pocket for Jan. of this year. It was mostly from PPC but that route is expensive. Sales have slowed down now, mainly because of the expense. I’m building backlinks now to hopefully get more organic traffic.
