I managed to increase my search engine traffic from mere 8% to 35 % last month. That is a good achievement since I was totally depending on social media traffic early. You can read all about the changes I have done from my “blog seo” post.
I think getting back links from high PR blogs played a major role here. And the best thing is, it all came without spending a dime and always took less than 10 minutes to get a valuable back link.
All blog experts will advice you to comment more and more when you first start out. But there is a right way to do it. If you are not getting a valuable back link, your efforts will be in vane. Most of the weblogs have enabled the attribute called “no follow”. Which means search engines will not give any value to the link you are getting by commenting.
That is why you have to comment on blogs which have the ” do follow” attribute enabled. I searched all over internet to find a decent directory of do follow blogs. I found many and there were over 1500+ entries all together in these directories. So without compiling my own list of ” do follow blogs”, I thought of creating a directory of directories.

1. Nickoo Shore’s list.
This is a great list with over 350 entries and Technorati rank is showed right after the blog name. If your blog is ” Do Follow” you can contact the author and get your blog added to the list.
2. Tucson SEO Solutions.
This is one of my favorite list. The creator has gone the extra step to categorize the entries and it is very helpful. If you are worried about the relevancy when getting back links, this is the place where you should go to.
This is a very small list but you get few PR6 and PR5 web sites here. It is a good idea to get the best use of this small list.
4. Why Do Work.
This is a nice list arranged by Google page rank.The creator could have add some more blogs to the list.
5. Minterest.
This directory has over 250 do follow blogs but they are not categorized or arranged according to the Google PR. But this is worth mentioning since the number of entries available here is significant.

6. D List.
This directory is also similar to the above one. You get nothing but a 200+ list of Do follow blogs.
7. Digerati Marketing.
If you like a Do follow blog list in PDF format get it from here. The creators have gone the extra step and added the PR value next to the blog name.
8. Jim Carter.
If your site is related to money making ideas, you get lot of related do follow blogs here.
9. Tips 4 Web
Once again another massive list of do follow blogs. The main problem I get with lot of directories is that they offer lot of low quality sites and we find it difficult to find a decent article to comment on. The creator has made an obvious effort to include top quality blogs. I find it very helpful as I do not like to comment on junk posts.
10. DoFollow Blog Search Engine
This is great. Just enter a term related to your niche and this search engine will find you many “do follow blogs” covering your area. I love this concept. Innovative thinking by the developer.
