Prabhakaran’s body has been identified and here are the Television grabs of the video.
Prabhakaran was in a small convoy of a van and ambulance along with several close aides which tried to drive out of the battle zone, but was attacked and killed, the senior defence ministry official said.
Troops also found the bodies of Prabhakaran’s 24-year-old son Charles Anthony, the group’s political wing leader B. Nadesan, and the head of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) Peace Secretariat, S. Pulideevan.
The above picture suggests a different story than what we truely experience here. It was fabricated by Tamils who are not living in Sri Lanka and picked up by International media to increase their ratings.
If anyone have doubts, visit Sri Lanka and please let us know where this genocide is taking place.
As a Sri Lankan living, working, studying with many Tamils I can safely say that there has not been any genocide attempts against Tamils here. The war was against terrorists and not against Tamil people. Now we all can live in peace thanks to the great effort by Sri Lankan Army and the government.
This is officially the first war ended by a military solution in the modern history.
Now where are the people who said that this cannot be ended by a military solution? Hats of to the president and the SL army. Proud to be a sri lankan.
There has not been a official confirmation saying that Prabhakaran is dead. Even if he is, we Tamils will fight till we get what we want !!! Colombo will be destroyed really soon.

It is indeed a great loss not just for the Tamil people of Sri Lanka but of the world. We have lost a man who single handedly fought for the rights of the Tamils. Here lies a man who fought till the end to death. Unlike other terrists who need no mention he never ran away from the cause he was fighting for nor death. If you are a true Tamilian then stand up and salute the man who has today brought Tamilian onto center stage.

It is not a loss but a great blessing to all the Tamils living specially in SL. I don’t find a single reason where Sinhalese have an edge over Tamils here. The only thing that Prabhakaran and the LTTE has done is stopped the development of the north for 30 years.

Not every problem can be solved by war. But terrorism and brutality can be defeated by war as we have clearly witnessed.
I am glad that the war is finally over. But I am also concerned with what the SL army is doing. They have been holding hundreds of thousands of civilians inside barbed wire fenced camps for a week. I realise that they do need to weed out any terrorist present within them..but forcing the civillians to live inside a prison like environment for days is just not done.
This is horrible news and I am please this war has come to an end
It’s good to hear that the war is over. It was nice hearing from someone who is actually there about what’s going on. The media paints a different picture from reality too often.

And, I am a Muslim. But I know about these people. Praba always cheated on peace talks bcoz he wanted to be a RULER. We, Srilankans intelligent enough why overseas tamils support LTTE. If the war ends, those guys may also lose their asylums etc. That s why they are shocked. They did not expect Praba would give up them such quickly. There is ONLY ONE COUNTY. That is Srilanka ! The L T T E has been killing innocent Srilankans for the last 30 years.It is very glad to know about the death of the LTTE LEADER Prabhakaran. I hope that the SriLANKAN government will protect the rights of Tamil people in SriLanka.
