I believe that the familiarity UK has with online is emerging in Sri Lanka and I want to set up a business that mirrors what I do in the UK. I do not need an office, I do the work myself (& outsourced) and could theoretically have commissions paid into my UK Bank Account. I would like to buy a .lk domain, but this is not as straightforward in Sri Lanka. I believe that I would benefit from being registered in Sri Lanka and do have a fixed address here. Please could you let me know (and others on this post) if you have had success in acquiring .lk domains and if company registration or sole trader registration is a prerequisite to purchasing.
