Beware of fake online income reports.

Post Image

I warmly welcome you to my blog. I hope you will enjoy your first visit. If you like what you are seeing, I invite you to subscribe to my RSS feed.

I have seen lot of money making gurus posting screen shots of their adsense accounts, click bank accounts, paypal accounts…etc to prove that they are actually making money and to pre sell the customer by giving them some false sense of credibility.

Reality is, more than half of these guru’s are still trying to make a buck online and have never saw an adsense check for real.

So how they do this? They don’t even have to open photoshop.
Just replace the URL of the website you want to edit with the following,

“javascript:document.body.contentEditable=’true’; document.designMode=’on’; voi”

And edit it just like you own the site :-) Recently I found a thread at digital point forum where one guy was claiming that he makes over $300 a day from adsense. People were asking questions from him like there is no tomorrow. Hoping that they also can start earning like he does. After 2-3 pages the real reason for him to start that particular thread came out. Yeah, you guess it right. An EBOOK. With all his secrets priced at $10. If I am earning $300 a day I will not bother to sell a crappy ebook for $10.

But when carefully examining his screen shot we could see the java code in the URL field. This idiot is so stupid that he forgot to delete the code and take the screen shot. He could have sold at least few copies if he acted little bit smart.

Why am I writing this post? To teach you an easy way to scam people? No, Next time when you see something like this, don’t start worshiping the guy. Look for other credentials rather than the screen shots which are very easily editable. Anyway I don’t see a necessary for anyone to buy e-books. As far as I know, if we spend some quality time on Google we can get all the information on anything for absolutely FREE.

And a reminder again, Do not use this to trick people. That would be evil. When talking about evil, the first thing coming to my mind is Mr John Chow. See How I edited johnchow’s latest post using this java code. Proving again that you cannot judge anything just by looking at it.

Have fun guys. Send a screen shot of your latest adsense account with daily earnings over $1000 to your mom, boss, friends or to anyone you wish. STRICTLY FOR FUN ONLY.

By the way I would love to increase my Feed count. Have a look around the site and if you like what you are seeing, Do join my Feed here and get the latest updates to your Email.

I know what you are talking about Jimmy. But sadly most people are dreaming if they could at least make $10 a day. That is why I always say the importance of an offline business where the income potential is much higher for regular people like you and me.

I purchased a system called profit lance afters going through his payment screen shots.It was very impressive,And I couldn’t resist. But as you suggested all those information are freely available online.No need to buy any ebooks.But if you can please publish a series of posts to total newbies like us. Thank you.

I saw this particular thread at dp forum and it was very funny when someone found out that the author was making only $1 a day. He had made that post 1-2 months back in a different thread. A senior member at the forum pulled up that post and the guy vanished. I think he was from Pakistan.Anyway,good that you are making people aware of this.But definitely some people will take advantage of this.

I have seen so many of these screenshots showing ridiculous adsense, clickbank, and other stats that people use. It is pretty sad that people stoop to this level, but apparently it still works. People see these things and click the buy it button hoping to make it rich.

@Justin
Totally agree. People just love to see how much others are making. They don’t realize more than half of these sellers are just faking. If they have a killer strategy they will not reveal it to anyone. I know I will not. If I do it won’t remain a killer strategy.

I can reveal all my secrets. But then I will have to kill you :-)

@batta,
reveal the secrets and don’t kill me.
I was reading lot of things about online money making lately an all the authors had similar screen shots to prove their income. So are you suggesting that everyone is faking or can we actually earn something online?

I thought they were photoshoping the images. But this seems easier than that. Stumbled to help this reach more people.

I will like to give my 2 cents view on the part where you talk about selling E-Books. You quoted that “With all his secrets priced at $10. If I am earning $300 a day I will not bother to sell a crappy ebook for $10.” I totally disagree on this point because writing an E-Book is only a 1 time effort so if you spend a one time effort and you could sell 1 ebook for $10.00, it is actually alot. I am talking more about effort/time spend.
