Best ways to make money blogging

You can make money online using your web site and a mixture of following money making methods. It took me lot of time to write this post as I wanted to give you the best. I hope you will be able to get the best out from this list.
If you do not have your own blog yet, I have given you step by step instructions on creating a blog site here. It covers all the information you needed for a start up.
01. Pay per click Networks.
You just have to copy paste the code given by them and they will start displaying ads in your web site. You will be paid for every click your web site visitors make or you will be paid a set amount for standard number of impressions ( Mostly 1000 views) their ads receive on your web site.
Recommended Pay per click/ Pay per impression Networks.
Probably the most popular way to make money online. They pay up to $5 for a click although there are rumors that some clicks value over $100. Nowadays with too much popularity it is impossible to earn such high amounts from a single click. I average $0.40 – 0.50 per click in this web site and the highest amount received for a click being $4.73 last month.
2. Chitika
You can use it with AdSense or as an AdSense alternative and Chithika is one of my favorite ad networks.
Simply display the BidVertiser text ads on your website and let advertisers bid against each other.They will always display the highest bidders to maximize your revenue so you will make more money.
4. Widget bucks

If you have searched for a way of making money online, you should have come across the term ” Affiliate marketing”. Affiliate marketing concept fall in this cost per action category.

My Favorite affiliate network and without a doubt the best in the business. Pays for leads, sales, clicks and they were the company invented most technologies related to affiliate marketing.
This is not an affiliate network as they only promote their own financial product. You get paid up to $200 per one lead and this has been my best money maker for the past 9 months.

This is also a network like retailfx and they offer 2 plans giving you a chance to earn from $75 to $200 per referral.

Over 3000 offers to choose from and they have high converting simple offers which your readers can complete at no cost. It makes them a network you should join if you are serious about making money online.

Do not need to explain much. A must join network. This is the first affiliate network I joined after launching this web site and I have no regrets. You will get a very helpful affiliate manager who will assist you in every possible way to make you more money.

04. Get paid for writing to your blog
How about getting paid to write blog posts? There are more than 20 companies do exactly that…. Pay you for your writings. I have listed the best pay per post companies here.

I know few people who are making more than $500 a month using this service.
30. Review me
This is the most popular company of this kind and have a proven track record. Came to the peak 2 years ago and now they have lost their edge a little bit. But still they are at the top of this particular industry. You get paid for reviewing and promoting products. Some product reviews comes with a very healthy price tag and when your site is getting popular you can get paid up to $500 a post. At the beginning of your blogging career you will find many $15-$25 per post offers.
31. Smorty
Write your opinion about peoples products and services to turn your daily blog updates into money.
32. Blogvertise
You will be emailed tasks/new assignments to write about in your blog. You do not have to endorse the website’s products or services, just mention it, discuss it, or relate to it somehow in your blog/journal entry. Once your blog entry is approved , you will be paid after 30 days for your entry via paypal.
You review their advertiser’s products and services and then post the review on your blog. Each advertiser has his or her own requirements (i.e. length, link info, etc.).
Earn hundreds or thousands of dollars writing reviews in your blog.
34. Loud Launch
If your blog and interests are aligned with an advertiser’s campaign, then write about them in exchange for pay. Not in exchange for a pre-determined outcome but for a fair assessment.
Monthly compensation: $84-140 paid via PayPal or Moneybookers. 3-5 posts per week are required and minimum of 70 words each.
05. Get paid for your uploads
You can earn money by sending traffic to your uploaded images, videos through your blog (This can be done without having a web site since all the page views will count.) The programs listed here could be included in some other categories.But I wanted to seperate all the download/ upload related programs in this section.
36. Rapidshare
Now you can earn money by referring customers to one of the world’s most visited web sites, ” rapidshare.com”
Whenever a new customer purchases a Premium Account using your ReferrerLink, you will receive up to ten ReferrerPoints.
Collect ReferrerPoints and redeem them in rapidshare’s rewards program or have them paid out in cash. You can Earn up to 20 Euro for gaining them a new customer.
37. Share a Pic
They pay $0.22 per 1000 picture views. They also allow you to add your Bidvertiser code to your image and gallery pages.
You will be paid a minimum of $1 and a maximum of $20 per 1000 downloads. Every successfully completed download will be counted.
The minimum payout amount is $30. Payouts are sent via Epassporte, AlertPay, PayPal and Webmoney.
06. Sell private advertising
This is one of the most lucrative method of making money online. You can sell space in your web site for banners or for text links for a monthly fee. 728* 90 leaderboard and the 300*250 rectangle are the most famous banner types.
You can determine your own prices. But you need to have high traffic and a well established web site in order to attract advertisers.
07. Create Premium Content and get paid
Who said all your blog content has to be free. You can always charge to access your premium content. Your readers can access most of your content free of charge and if you are offering quality content you can convince them to pay a monthly fee or a one time fee to get access to your most valued section.
08. Earn Money Through Job Boards
You can see a good example of how this works here at pro-blogger’s job board. Pro blogger is a very popular blogging related web site and it’s job board make use of that popularity to earn some extra money while offering a good service. You should be well placed in a highly targeted niche If this is to be successful.
The job boards normally charge a minimum of $10 per listing and there are web sites which charge even $100 per listing.

09. Sell a product or a service
The most popular method of making money in this category is to sell an E-book. But it is not limited to do that. You can also sell,

I listed only the most popular goods and services offered through blogs. But you can think out of the box and create a product according to your expertise.
10. Other monetizing methods.
These are my least favorite methods of making money through a blog but this article will not be completed without at least a mention of them.
43. Donations
Placing a donation button in a blog which do not use other advertising method can make you good amount of money if you are offering valuable content. A good example of a web site which made a 5 figure income through donations was Steve Pavlina’s blog.
44. Pop-ups and Pop-unders
If you do not mind annoying your visitors while making few bucks, go ahead and use them. But if your plan is to create a loyal readership base and if have long term plans for your blog please stay away from pop ups and pop unders.
45. Audio Ads
The reason I do not like this advertising method is, our visitors do not have an option not to listen this ad once the page loads. But due to this very reason there is a 100% conversion rate for each of your unique visitors. You can sign up with the company NetAudioAds and do a test run of Audio ads.
46. Private forums
Setting up a forum is a very easy task now a days with the kind of plugins provided by web hosts. I posted a video of how to set up a forum here.
Not all forums have to provide FREE content. You can build a forum around your blog and charge a monthly fee or a one time fee from your members. It is not advisable to do this when you first start out. But you can start charging a fee when your forum is filled up with adequate quality threads.
47. Selling your blog
This is a good way to make money especially when there are recent reports of some blogs being sold for a price tag of over one million dollars.
It is obvious that you should have a high quality blog site if you are to sell it for a good price. That is why I prefer keeping them once they reach that status. If you wish to sell your blog once it reaches a certain level, you can put it for sale at Digital point forum or at sitepoint market place.

Nice list. I only use 3 of those methods: Google AdSense, Amazon Associates, and donations. In the whole life of my blog I’ve received two $30 donations, but AdSense is pulling in over $100 per month now. Amazon, under $10. I’ve been averaging $0.28 per click this month: 602 clicks, $166.24 total. You can always make it up on volume.
I should look into Chitika because it is very successful for some people. Almost every blog makes its money from AdSense.

The only way I can make money now is through PPC like AdWords.
But now Google seems to be very strict in their quality score. It is much harder to pass their test.
And if you promote the wrong product like make money online niche you can get banned easily

I find this post really good, and try to make an article about this later. The most important think I believe is traffic and the income will follow, promote first (marketing) and then gang up with this income generating affiliates. Adsense is I think reliable, but don’t be trapped only on Google there’s alot more opportunity beyond online.

The most complete list of money making program that I’ve seen so far. Me using Google adsense as my main source of earning online although I’m not earning that much yet.
I’ve had my blog up for about 9 months. I have 50 posts and have actually made some money doing it. So far only about $40, but hey, that’s better than nothing, and once you get your site going it’s a little bit of passive income. Plus I feel like I’m providing content that is useful for people.

What an excellent article. For me Adsense still ranks as No1 on the earnings front and with some good research it is possible to earn a few dollars per click on a regular basis, but generally money making niches pay more poorly, although the key here is to generate a larger volume of clicks. Audio Ads are also a brilliant way to make money as they are easy to view and go beyond being static words on a page. Love the theme of your site by the way, very attractive and easy on the eye.
